76 people were arrested recently for holding a party using illegal drugs in the Bellana Watta area of Seeduwa. Police say 12 young women were among the arrested group.
It seems that the Gampaha district has been the focus of such organized Facebook and Instagram events in the past.
The police also state that ice and cannabis were consumed in most of these places.
Meanwhile, the police had also discovered a party organized through Instagram in the Uswetakeiyawa area recently.
