: Mr. Andreas Saaghus,who has served at the Karibu Foundation,Norway was denied entry into Israel last night(30th) Andreas was going to serve for 3 months as an ‘Accompanier’ in the EAPPI programme (Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme to Palestine and Israel) of the World Council of Churches (WCC).
It is reported that together with him, one other Norwegian was also denied entry. It’s a great pity for Andreas and also for the people he should serve. But at the same time it is one of the signs that also the international resistance against the policies of the state of Israel is creating fear and reactions from the side of the authorities. Many people carry the heavy burden daily for this policies and have done so much for decades.
They also experience major “Restrictions’ and unbearable humiliations. Let us energise each other to keep the struggle going and to strengthen and intensify our resistance!
