Near 500 relatives of disapered from Mannar and vavunia gathered in Jaffna on August 27 to share their grievances to thr UNHR commissioner naneedan pillai.
Police tried to block them coming near to the Jaffna library where the madom pillai was having a meeting with jaffna civil servants.
some how mothers were courage enough to passed through the barricade and finally started their sitting protest.
the realtive belived they may have a chance to to see madom pillai once she came out of the meeting ,yet the police and the security made arrengement to bring madom pillai from the back door….
